For skiers, the start of the Saveyrolles area, one of the best-known in Verbier, is 50 or so metres from Chalet Alpin Roc. Alternatively, take a walk up to Pierre Avoi, an unmistakeable craggy outcrop, via Col de la Marlène. Unwind after a sport-filled day in the chalet’s spa (hammams and saunas are highly recommended for an effective recovery) and then round off the day with a meal in one of the restaurants serving traditional food in the village centre.
